Many people think that the idea of a blue Ohio is farfetched. But team, we know better.

The Ohio Democratic Party is under new, young leadership, and we've developed a plan to return Ohio Democrats to power.

Part of our new plan is to be honest and transparent. Yes, it's true ultra-gerrymandered districts, floods of dark money from super PACs, and voter roll purges kept us from delivering our 18 electoral college votes to the Biden/Harris ticket in 2020. Still, we saw huge victories on Election Day. Every Democratic member of the Ohio Congressional delegation won their re-election and we were able to elect a new justice to Ohio's Supreme Court -- the only Democrat to win a statewide race in a state that went for Trump.

2022 is the year of opportunity for Ohio Democrats with the governor's race AND an open Senate seat. This is our chance to learn from the best practices we saw in Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin and apply them to a uniquely Ohio game plan to win.

We're spending this year rebuilding our infrastructure from the ground up. We're reinvesting in our digital program, social media strategy, and voter registration and outreach programs. We know a blue Ohio is possible -- but only if we start the work right now.
