One of my promises as Governor of Texas is to protect Texans from the unethical collection practices used by the IRS.
Many people think the income tax is unconstitutional. The reality is that it is very constitutional, only that most people aren't require to pay it. They have tricked us into thinking we have to pay it.
Self employment is an important example. Do you know what that really means with regard to your tax liability?
Self "net earnings from self employment" is defined in section 1402 as income derived from "trade or business". It goes on in this section to define "trade or business" in 1402(c) as the same definition in section 162. But section 162 never actually defines the term, it only uses it as it relates to deductions. That means section 162 derives its meaning from 7701(a)26: "The term 'trade or business' includes the performance of the functions of a public office." So unless you're a public official, you are NOT self employed.
The income tax is a scam, and most American's are not liable. If you don't believe me, ask your tax preparer to explain this to you and watch them squirm.
