John, Women’s March was founded on the belief that women have the power to turn the tides of our country and transform our political landscape.
One powerful example of women coming together to fight for change is the WNBA.
From mobilizing voters in Georgia to help flip the Senate, to rising up in solidarity to defend Black lives — women in the WNBA have been on the front lines calling for justice — even when it wasn’t the most popular opinion at the time.
WNBA teams like the Washington Mystics have been using their platform for years to uplift women’s issues and be a force for positive change. We’re proud to share a connection to Washington D.C. with the Mystics, where our work first started when millions of women came together to begin resisting Trump’s administration.
That’s why today we’re excited to announce that Women’s March and the Washington Mystics are collaborating together for their new WNBA Nike Rebel Edition uniform!

The Washington Mystics Nike Rebel Edition uniform was created to honor the historic moments for gender, racial, and LGBTQ+ equality voiced throughout our Nation’s capital.
The uniform takes inspiration from all of our Women’s Marches, from 2017 to present, from the day our movement was born and the largest single day of protest in world history to our massive organizing efforts in the 2020 elections. Intertwined with Mystics Navy Blue, the bold color scheme represents the power of a sisterhood that is unapologetic, irreverent, and speaks truth to power.
