Bad news, John.
Republicans in statehouses across the country are doing everything they can to suppress the vote and rig elections -- and their base couldn't be happier about it.
In fact, they're so happy that there has been an outpouring of support for the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC), which is responsible for electing Republicans at the state level.
The RSLC just reported a record-breaking $4.2 million in fundraising from January through March. This shows clearly that the Republican base is on board with these voter suppression tactics, and we'll need to put everything we have into fighting back against their suppression and their fundraising.
John, if we want to stop Republicans from turning back the clock on voting rights, we've got to win in 2022. But right now, the Republican base is fired up and breaking records while Democratic donors are in an off-year slump.
