Friend,

I chair the Senate committee that oversees the U.S. Postal Service. It's a duty I take with the utmost seriousness – particularly now, after the previous administration's mismanagement left our postal service unable to meet the needs of American families and small businesses.

Unfortunately, not all of my colleagues believe saving the USPS is important – and that's exactly why I'm coming to this grassroots team for help.

You see, even as millions of Americans are experiencing mail delays – and even as the Trump-appointed postmaster general has slashed vital services – there isn't united support in Congress to protect the USPS and return it to the strong and vibrant service we once knew. But I am fully committed to fixing what's broken. The USPS is too critical a lifeline for seniors, small businesses and rural communities to do otherwise.

So today, I'm looking for 5,000 of you to sign my petition urging Congress to protect the USPS. We're up against an 11:59 p.m. deadline, so I'm really counting on you to add your name right now:

Sign the petition to urge congressional action to protect the USPS!

Thank you,

Gary
