Yesterday, the Board of Supervisors unanimously passed my resolution recognizing October as Italian American Heritage Month in San Francisco. Now it's time to celebrate!

October is when we hold month-long celebrations in honor of all that Italian Americans have brought to the City, and I am proud that San Francisco joined the Cities of Los Angeles, Boston and many others in declaring October Italian American Heritage Month. Snacks and drinks are being generously donated by some of my favorite San Francisco Italian businesses and I can't wait to share them with you.
