Hi John,

You might've heard already about President Biden's American Jobs Plan, which will improve the quality of life for people across our country, create much-needed jobs, and address the pressing problem of climate change. Needless to say, it's one of the top things on my mind.

My team is hard at work as we prepare to usher this plan through Congress. We're trying to deliver for the American people, but Republicans are using bad-faith arguments against us at every turn, deriding this crucial legislation as a “socialist wish list” and a “$2 trillion tax hike.” Mitch McConnell even said he's planning to fight us “every step of the way.”

Supporting this bill might bring on Republican attacks, but I'm prepared for the fight, because I will uphold the best interests of the American people. But I won't get very far without your help.

I will fight for the paychecks, infrastructure updates, and sustainable energy that the American Jobs Plan would bring to our district, even if it means suffering Republican attacks -- but to do that, we need to be fully prepared, and that means meeting our fundraising goals. Unfortunately, right now we're $1,340 behind our weekly benchmark.
