John --
Georgia Republicans are leading the charge in voter suppression as Republicans across the country try to rig the system in their favor.
Governor Brian Kemp just signed into law a bill that, among other things, makes it illegal to give food and water to voters waiting in line for the polls.
This is following the 2020 election, when Georgia saw record-breaking, hours-long lines to vote — especially in areas with the most voters of color. This is a blatant attempt at suppressing our voices to make sure Republicans regain power.
In 2020, we flipped Georgia blue because tens of thousands of voters were willing to wait in hours-long lines to cast their ballots. Now, instead of fixing a broken system, Republicans are building on it to make it even harder for communities of color to vote.
John, we can't allow this to be the new normal. Republicans think they can rig elections with their Jim Crow-style voter suppression laws -- but we're not going to let them get away with it.
We're working around the clock to replace these scheming Republican lawmakers with diverse Democrats who will fight to protect democracy. We pulled it off with your support in 2020, and we know, if you stay in this fight, we can do it again in 2022.

We can out-match Republicans and their voter suppression tactics like we did in 2020, but it's going to take all of us working together. Thank you for being a part of this fight.
