Here is why we endorsed her:
- Jennifer is a strong, consistent advocate for gender equality and plans to break barriers for women by fighting for reproductive freedom, equal pay, and paid family leave.
- In her time as a delegate, Jennifer was a strong advocate for a fair justice system that treated everyone equally regardless of color.
- As a former public defender, she has dedicated herself to fight to address the historical injustices in the criminal justice system, end mass incarceration and eliminate the school-to-prison pipeline.
With only TWO MONTHS until the June 8th primary election, we need all the support we can get to make Jennifer the Democratic nominee for governor.
