We need to reclaim
Jesus from a skewed version of God that is disconnected from the poor and
marginalized. In the latest issue of Sojourners,
Jim Wallis answers the question Jesus posed to the power brokers of his
day – a question which is still relevant today: "Who is my
neighbor?"
Advocating for justice for the most vulnerable in our society, Wallis writes,
"My worldview has always been most changed by two things: being in places
I was not supposed to be, and meeting people I was not supposed to meet."
Read "Who is My Neighbor?", an extended excerpt from Wallis’ new
book, Christ in Crisis,
in in the November issue of Sojourners magazine.
