The NYCI Child Protection Programme will be delivering an online child protection awareness training for staff and volunteers ([link removed]) in the youth work sector, which you may find of interest. It takes place on the 15th of April from
9.30am- 2pm.

This training is suitable for those who have general responsibilities in relation to safeguarding, but whose role does not include specified child protection responsibilities.

* You will learn definitions of child abuse
* You will become aware of reporting procedures and your responsibilities
* You will explore how to work safely with young people
