100,000 VOLUNTEERS X 10 MILES EACH = THE MILLION MILE CLEAN

Over half of the UK population see more plastic on UK beaches than wildlife. Something's got to change and we need YOU to be part of the solution. We are cleaning one million miles of beaches, rivers, streets and mountains in 2021 to protect the environment from the growing problem of plastic pollution.

Join us for the first flagship week happening 15th - 23rd of May. Save the date, start rallying your community and be part of the biggest, most ambitious clean up campaign ever.

After a difficult year, we want to reconnect people with their communities and with the environment. Volunteering is known to boost your mental health and by taking on 10 miles of cleaning, it’s a great way to get out there and stay active!

Spring is here and with it comes longer days, better weather, warmer seas and a renewed energy. It’s a time to get back outside and reconnect with nature. It’s a time to look forwards with optimism.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED...

We want you to walk, paddle, cycle or swim 10 miles throughout the year, whilst picking up plastic and packaging pollution. Beach, street, river or mountain, you can clean anywhere, anytime, just remember to track your distance, submit your results, and use the hashtag #MillionMileClean.

You can either register to lead a clean with us and get your whole community involved, join a clean in your local area, or do a Mini Beach Clean in your own time. Every step counts towards our million mile goal.
