We have great news, John: Last night, the progressive movement won BIG in St. Louis. Up and down the ballot, from the Mayor’s office, to the Board of Aldermen, we saw historic victories in St. Louis for people-first candidates.
Here’s what happened: Voters across St. Louis came together to elect the City’s first Black woman mayor, Tishaura Jones, and flip 4 seats on the Board of Aldermen to give progressives control of the city council. Combine that with Cori in Congress, and our progressive movement has a monumental opportunity to lead and govern in the service of our communities in St. Louis City.
Voters in St. Louis are rising up to transform our community. These progressive victories are proof that when we work together, we can elect leaders that will challenge the status quo, stand up for justice, and legislate in defense of Black lives.
It's a new day in St. Louis and Black women are leading the way. This progressive movement is happening right now and Black women are ensuring it's here to stay.
But Cori's re-election is coming up next, and it's all but guaranteed people will be targeting Cori to break up this movement. As a dedicated supporter, will you chip in $5 or anything you're able to stand with Cori and show your support for the Black women leading St. Louis into the future? [[link removed]]

The GOP and their corporate friends are all catching on to the fact that this movement is catching fire. Republicans have been looking for any opportunity to mock Cori's work or our progressive agenda for months — and Fox News has made it a point to attack Cori any chance they get, especially when she calls out white supremacy.
Cori is fighting every day against voter suppression, to pass Medicare for All and a Green New Deal, and to defend those among us who have the least. But in order to keep making progress as the first activist from the movement for Black lives to serve in Congress, Cori needs your help.
That's why we're asking for your support again. Please, if you can, chip in $5 to make sure Cori has the resources to fight off GOP attacks and show that this movement is here to stay. [[link removed]]
In solidarity,
Team Cori
