Team, this is important.

This past year, we have seen the lengths to which Republicans will go to try to undermine our democracy.

Just last week, Republicans in Georgia passed a package of laws that will severely suppress voting rights and undercut the will of the people. That’s why I support the For the People Act, a bill which will expand voting rights and preserve the integrity of our democracy.

Among many things, the bill seeks to:

• Limit the influence of outside money in our elections
• Put a stop to partisan gerrymandering
• Establish new ethics rules for federal officeholders
• Enhance election security

If H.R. 1 doesn't pass, it's even more critical to hold NV-03 as Democratic incumbents in red states will be gerrymandered out of Congress.

This should not be a partisan issue, but Democrats in Congress are choosing to fight for democracy, while Republicans are actively fighting against it.

And it’s no secret why: Republicans know that if they can’t cheat, they can’t win. That’s no way to run a country.

Our democracy was built on a basic idea: This country belongs to We The People. So we need an electoral system that works For The People.
