from Pennsylvania to know how bad Pat Toomey is. I could
write yinz an email about how he’s spent his 10+ years in the Senate
hiding from Pennsylvanians, or how he wants PA to adopt Georgia’s new
racist voting law. I could write you a whole entire email just about that.

But the #1 thing you need to know about Pat Toomey is this: He is not
seeking reelection, making Pennsylvania the *most competitive* Senate race
of 2022.

That’s why, today, I’m humbly asking:

the last time this Senate seat was contested — Pat Toomey had more than
$7.2 MILLION cash on hand. It ended up being the most expensive Senate
seat of the 2016 campaign cycle, with GOP super PACs dumping buckets of
money into Pennsylvania.

John, the GOP
was desperate to keep this Senate seat in 2016, and you bet they’re gonna
be desperate to keep this seat now that my dude Pat is officially
retiring.
