John --
Thanks to the American Rescue Plan, aid is continuing to reach the American people in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Billions of dollars in stimulus checks have been delivered, and hundreds of millions of Americans have been vaccinated. We’re making progress, but there is more work to do, John.
Last month, President Joe Biden announced the historic $2 trillion American Jobs Plan to rebuild America’s infrastructure. His proposal contains billions in much-needed investments in roads, bridges, water, power, and much more, and would direct resources to areas hardest hit by climate change.
We’ve long known that the quality of our infrastructure has lagged behind much of the developed world. This “once in a generation” investment would create millions of American jobs for the benefit of the American public. It’s a powerful investment in our future, and I look forward to supporting the passage of this legislation.
As expected, Republicans are already looking for ways to tear this plan down, so I wanted to hear from you about this directly: Will you take my brief survey to share our thoughts on President Biden’s infrastructure plan?
