I knew when we began on this mission that it wouldn’t be easy, and breaking news today confirmed my suspicions. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s big radical-right backers have begun rallying behind her incendiary rhetoric and hateful ideology, and they raised over $3 million for their campaign in the last quarter.

MTG might have her big corporate donors behind her, but I know that our grassroots movement can defeat them. We have the people on our side, and if we can keep up our pace and build on our early success, I guarantee that we will prevail come election day. Help us show that we aren’t deterred by these early fundraising numbers, and that our progressive movement is strong enough to not only keep up, but to bring MTG down.

Marjorie Taylor Greene has become the figurehead of the radical right for her inflammatory actions and violent rhetoric, and as we’ve seen in the past with Donald Trump, this hate can attract thousands. However, kindness and respect prevailed in November, and it will win again.

It’s time for us to take a stand for the progressive ideals that can lead this state to a brighter future for all. We are here to bring respect back to our politics, and replace the hate we’ve seen in Washington with tolerance and learning.
