This is a fragile moment for American Democracy.

After Donald Trump pushed the big lie that the 2020 election was stolen, Republicans started doubling down on voter suppression tactics across the country.

That's especially true here, where the Michigan GOP recently introduced dozens of bills designed to make it harder to vote.

Friend, in 2018 Michigan voters overwhelmingly approved changes to the law that made voting easier and more accessible.

We can't let Michigan Republicans overturn the will of the people and take away our freedom and choices for voting.

The late John Lewis often talked about voting as "sacred" and "precious."

I couldn't agree more. The right to vote IS precious and we have to fight with everything we have to stop anyone who tries to take it away.

So I am asking --

Will you join me in standing up to Michigan Republicans who are trying to take our vote?
