It's a dangerous piece of legislation that threatens the constitutional
sovereignty of our nation.

The moment Senator Graham and I denounced the so-called "For the People Act" –
better known as H.R. 1 – the attacks from the Left started, just because I am
standing up for election integrity in South Carolina and all other states.

From undoing voter ID laws to outside groups drawing up congressional
districts,Democrats in DC are setting us up for the largest invitation for
election fraud that I can imagine.

H.R. 1 is a threat to the constitutional sovereignty of South Carolina and as
long as I am your Governor, I will stand up against those who seek to infringe
or deny South Carolinians their constitutionally protected freedoms and liberty.

We need to send a clear message to Washington that we see Nancy Pelosi's
voting legislation for what it is – a power grab, a threat to our state's
sovereignty, and a risk to the integrity of our elections.
