At the last Democratic presidential debate in Houston, our candidates agreed that our country has a serious problem with mass incarceration, but no candidate presented a solution while on stage.

Right now, the U.S. leads the world in the number of incarcerated people, and the policies put in place over the last 40 years have caused that number to skyrocket. It’s time to hold our leaders accountable and demand they put forward plans to end mass incarceration.

We have to put pressure on our lawmakers to restore justice and end mass incarceration. We can pass sentencing reforms, end for-profit prisons, and eliminate the racial bias in our laws and sentencing guidelines -- that’s why we’re asking you to stand with us today.
