Greetings Friend --
Join us today at 7:30pm for a special
Save Women’s Sports episode of “The NC Values Voice.” On
tonight's special episode of the Voice, Julie Scott Emmons discusses
The Human Life Non-Discrimination Act (HB453) which prohibits
abortions based on race and/or the prenatal diagnosis of Down
syndrome. All babies−born and unborn− have intrinsic dignity and worth
and should be protected from the practice of eugenic abortion.
Tonight, we celebrate the life of Will and Miller and the
hundreds of babies each year that are born with Down syndrome.
Because it is estimated that 70% of all babies with a prenatal
diagnosis of Down syndrome are aborted in the state, the North
Carolina Values Coalition is working with the Primary Bill sponsors to
stop the practice of eugenic abortion in North Carolina. No one
deserves to be discriminated against because of his or her race or
disability. This is especially true of unborn children who are being
marked for death just because someone has determined that they are the
wrong race or have the potential or confirmed diagnosis of Down
syndrome.
You can also watch today’s episode of the voice—as well as former
ones—at www.ncvalues.org/voice.
We look forward to you joining us tonight!
PS:
If you haven’t already, would you
help us stop human discrimination in North Carolina by clicking to
contact your NC House member and asking them to vote FOR the Human
Life Discrimination Act
Sincerely,
Tami
