Folks, our fight to save the United States Postal Service is far from over.

Donald Trump’s hand-picked Postmaster General — Louis DeJoy — is at it again. This time, with a disastrous plan to hike up postage prices and slow down mail even more than he already has.

DeJoy has got to go. The problem is, President Biden can’t directly remove him from his government post and DeJoy doesn’t appear to have any intention of leaving. So, I’ve been urging the president to appoint a new Board of Governors and then the Senate needs to confirm his nominees in order to fire the guy.

Until then, DeJoy will continue to do even more damage to our postal service with longer delivery times, shorter hours, and higher prices. We need to move fast, folks. It’s on us to turn up the heat and public pressure before the postal service is reduced to rubble.

Will you sign my petition to demand the Senate quickly confirm President Biden’s nominees so we can finally remove Louis DeJoy and save our postal service? We need to save the USPS from further sabotage and reverse the damage done to this critical lifeline millions of people depend on.

DeJoy has degraded the trust of millions of Americans and dismantled a crucial public service in the middle of a public health and economic crisis. Too many folks rely on the mail every day to get their life-saving medications, ballots, Social Security benefits, and so much more. It’s past time we remove DeJoy before he can do any further damage.

The USPS has always been there for the American people, especially during times of crisis. Let’s make sure we’re here for them, too.

Thank you, as always, for taking action.
