We need to confront the fossil fuel industry head on.
John,
The climate crisis is growing more serious by the day, and our dependence on fossil fuels is polluting the water, food, and air we all depend on. And while President Biden and Congressional leaders are talking about investing in clean energy infrastructure, their plans would allow for more fracking, pipelines, and power plants for decades to come.
To stop climate change, we need to ban fracking everywhere and end the fossil fuel era. President Biden wants to "Build Back Better" — we need to Build Back Fossil Free.
Over the past decade, thousands of activists and organizations have successfully stopped fracking and other dangerous fossil fuel projects in cities and states across the country. We've built tremendous power, and now we have an opportunity to take our campaign to the next level.
You’ll hear from Food & Water Action Founder & Executive Director, Wenonah Hauter and Organizing Director, Emily Wurth. You'll also hear from organizers and volunteers about their work to build support for a national ban on fracking and how you can get involved.
President Biden and Congressional leaders are talking a lot about addressing climate change this year. It's up to us to turn those words into action and push for real solutions that will keep fossil fuels in the ground and protect our water, our health, and our climate.
