** PEAK in Community
------------------------------------------------------------
The latest news about our sector partnerships and how PEAK is advocating for more equitable grantmaking practices at conferences, convenings, and community conversations.
Satonya Fair joined CHANGE Philanthropy’s Carly Hare on the latest episode ([link removed]) of their "Philanthrotea" podcast for a deep dive into PEAK’s equity work.
Melissa Sines led a discussion for CHANGE's Research Working Group alongside Lucy Bernholz of Stanford's Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society, focused on philanthropic digital infrastructure, data privacy and access, and the challenges of tracking good philanthropic and nonprofit data.
We continued our engagement with Candid, an important partner for PEAK, with Satonya meeting to learn more about Candid's nonprofit supports, and in broad discussions about future collaborations.
Nick Tedesco and the team at National Center of Family Philanthropy invited PEAK to host a session with one of their members focused on operationalizing equity and best practices in grantmaking – our first engagement with this strategically-aligned sector partner.
The Equitable Evaluation Initiative "Making the Case Collaboratory" – co-hosted by PEAK, GEO, Funders Together to End Homelessness, and Southern California Grantmakers – continued with our first month of peer-to-peer coaching, where we helped support our members in a space of learning and reflection.
