Our country was founded on the idea of giving everyone in this country a fair chance to make their voice heard. Now, though, we’re facing a barrage of attempts to undermine fair representation. Lawmakers are constructing structural barriers to prevent participation in our democracy. These types of voter suppression measures and map manipulations aren’t new, but they are especially menacing.

I’m honored to be a part of this team because we’re fighting to help America live up to its promise by achieving fair maps and protecting the right to vote. Right now, our grassroots team is working to convince the Senate to pass the For the People Act because strong federal legislation is one key avenue that can help safeguard our democracy and make sure everyone’s voices are valued.
