Don’t worry, we only use data from our emails -- like who opened or clicked a link -- to optimize our emails for deliverability and to make sure that we’re sending content that’s relevant.
But so many companies know even more. Except they don’t always use their data ethically -- and they don’t always keep your information private.
That’s why Suzan recently introduced important legislation to update our tech privacy laws and bring them into the 21st century. Her bill will let us decide who gets to use our sensitive personal information, like Social Security numbers, location, health information, and sexual orientation.
With this bill, privacy is the default. You’ll be able to opt in if you are okay with sharing your sensitive personal information, and you’ll also get to opt out of sharing non-sensitive data, too.
John, do you support reasonable tech privacy laws that will protect consumers’ data?

Suzan will always support commonsense data protection and privacy practices -- because your information belongs to you.
