Senate Democrats are ready to take action on common sense gun safety reforms to prevent senseless tragedies like we’ve seen in Boulder, Atlanta and across our country. Just take a look at what Kirsten said last month:
“We must end the gun violence epidemic. And if the filibuster is used to hold up common sense reforms that Americans are demanding, then we need to eliminate the filibuster.”
But Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans are using the threat of the filibuster—an outdated Senate procedure—to block ANY meaningful gun safety reforms. They’re too deep in the pockets of the NRA to stand up for what they know is right.
Progressives around the country are coming together to make their voices heard, but we want to hear from our top supporters: Do you think it’s time to reform the filibuster to pass meaningful gun safety reforms, like universal background checks and a ban on assault rifles?

This team worked tirelessly to defeat President Trump and elect a Democratic majority in the House and the Senate. Now, it’s time to make good on our promises to enact the kind of policies that a majority of Americans (regardless of political party) support! If we can’t deliver, all our hard work will have been in vain.
Please, take our TWO-MINUTE survey to let us know whether or not Senate Democrats should reform the filibuster to pass meaningful gun safety reforms. [[link removed]]
