Friend,

It has been a frightening few weeks for those of us who care deeply about voting
rights.

During the end of March, Georgia's Republican-led legislature and Republican
governor passed a galling -- and likely unconstitutional -- voter suppression
law which will disproportionately disenfranchise Democrats, especially Black
Georgians.

Why? Because a record number of Georgians voted in 2020, and they voted for
Democrats (namely, President Joe Biden, Senator Jon Ossoff, and, notably,
Senator Raphael Warnock).

Unfortunately, Republican leaders in Georgia now want to punish their citizens
and suppress their vote because Senator Warnock -- Georgia's first ever Black
senator -- is up for reelection in 2022, and Republicans believe they can only
win if they restrict access to voting.

It's clear that Republicans in Georgia will do whatever it takes, including
legislating voter suppression, to take away the seat that Senator Warnock fairly
earned. He's going to need to work twice as hard, against rampant voter
suppression, to keep his seat in the Senate next year.

Donate today to Senator Raphael Warnock to help him keep his Senate seat, to hold
the Democratic Senate majority, and to fight back against Republican voter
suppression.
