The Women’s and Fair Practices Departments are proud to announce their robust spring training schedule! Over the next few weeks, our departments will provide all AFGE members with in-depth online trainings that will focus on workers' rights and protections. Below you will find our schedule of trainings, descriptions of our courses as well as hyperlinked text which will take you to the trainings' registration pages.
Non-selection:
In this webinar, you will learn how to prove an EEO case alleging disparate treatment for non-selection. We will go over the burden of proof for a standard non-selection case, how a Complainant may establish that they were the best qualified candidate for the job, and what type of evidence needs to be compared and contrasted to highlight the Complainant’s qualifications versus the selectee’s. This webinar will also delve into recent cases involving non-selections to provide participants with a better understanding of the EEOC’s latest trends in this area of the law. Retaliation:
In this webinar, you will learn how EEO retaliation/reprisal is distinguishable from other forms of retaliation.
