The number of Republican voter suppression bills is rising, John -- and quickly.

GOP lawmakers have now introduced 10 times as many voter suppression bills as they did in early 2020 -- and what's worse, nearly 30 of these bills have passed at least one chamber, including the infamous Georgia bill recently signed into law by Gov. Brian Kemp.

But the news isn’t all bad: There's been a BACKLASH against Republican attempts to suppress the vote:
-Large corporations are starting to speak out against these discriminatory measures
-Civil rights groups are taking the Georgia law to court

And here's how we at the NDRC are working to stop them:
-Speaking out against anti-voting legislation across the country
-Fighting to pass the federal For the People Act and John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, which would ban many forms of voter suppression
-Working on the ground to prevent GOP gerrymandering and make sure each vote counts equally

Republicans have chosen to make voter suppression their core issue in 2021, so it's going to take a massive effort to fight back. But we know this community is up to it, John . Can you pitch in to give us the resources we need to take them on and push them back?
