The Procurement Support Officer is responsible for supporting all aspects of procurement activity within a category management structure. They will support the Procurement Team to deliver effective procurement, with a focus on improving quality, maximising savings, increasing spend with local suppliers and creating targeted employment and training opportunities. The post holder will support tenders for a variety of goods and services, from preparation of tender documentation and advertisement through to contract award, in accordance with The Council's Financial Regulations and procurement?legislation. Duties will include?managing a range of procurement related?information, including analysing numerical data?and producing reports from the Team's Information management systems.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:*?
* Ability to work in a busy, challenging environment, utilising a range of skills in relation to a constantly changing subject matter and workload
* Ability to use Microsoft Access and Excel to produce reports and evaluate data
* Knowledge of procurement legislation and contract procedure rules
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both in writing and verbally
* Ability to use own initiative; make daily decisions relating to the procurement contracts and other procurement issues and to be able to work to strict timescales
* Ability to analyse complex information, including numerical data

Residential Night Care Assistant at Wood View Children?s Home for children and young people with disabilities. Wood View offers permanent residential care to young people who have severe learning disabilities and physical disabilities, many of whom are on the autistic spectrum and who may exhibit significant challenges in management of their behaviour. The role requires an ability to:?
? ? ? To give essential and personal care to children and young people with autism and learning disabilities. To establish positive relationships with the young people, assessing needs and risk.?
? ?? To support young people during the night and support them in their bedtime routines. ?
? ?? To support young people with their medical and all round health needs. ?
? ?? To ensure a high standard of supervision and support is provided to assist children and young people with Autism and learning disabilities.?
? ?? Applicants must have experience of working with people with disabilities. ?
? ? The potholders primary responsibility, will be to ensure the physical safety and security of the children and young people during the night hours?
? ?? You will need to respond to the needs of the young people with a wide range of learning disabilities and will be required to undertake domestic tasks and have general oversight of the building security. ?
