Happy Earth Month! April is Team Sierra’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and one of the ways you can join us is joining our virtual team to do a 5k/10k as a part of the Bend Marathon.

From April 12 - May 25, you can complete a 5k or 10k wherever you are. We have limited slots available, and the first 15 people that raise $150 will get free race registration (plus, our 2021 Marine Layer Earth Day shirt and a medal and race shirt from the Bend Marathon which you can see on our sign up page).

If you’d like more information or you’re ready to sign up, you can do that with our Bend Virtual Race group.

And the most important part, is the money that you raise will fund Sierra Club’s programs like retiring coal plants, moving away from fossil fuels, and transitioning to clean energy, like solar and wind, in an equitable and just way.
