Liberal California cannot stop passing socialist policies that only hinder the growth of the state. Recently, California has introduced an amendment that would make a wealth tax part of their state constitution. The bill would remove local and state limitations and establish a wealth tax administration that would be responsible for collecting and imposing the tax. The tax would apply to both tangible and intangible personal properties and wealth.

The Left still has not learned that the state can’t tax itself into prosperity. Unfortunately, Liberals are turning California’s constitution into a catalogue of taxes instead.

With all of the oppressive policies instituted in California, it’s no surprise that the state is experiencing a continued exodus. Between liberal hypocrisy, overbearing taxes, and a socialist agenda, Californians have had enough. Residents are packing up and leaving the socialist hotbed for states like Texas and Florida that have minimal government intervention and lower taxes. 

California should take note and decrease tax burdens, reduce the power of the state, and let people spend their own money how they see fit.
