Friend, one of the most persistent threats to the American people is cancer.

The good news is survival rates have improved significantly for those who are able to detect cancer early.

The bad news is that’s not always an option — especially for rural and underserved populations who face barriers to early detection screening.

That’s why I introduced the Multi-Cancer Early Detection Screening Coverage Act , a bipartisan piece of legislation which will modernize Medicare coverage of new multi-cancer screening technology and allow patients access to cancer screenings before symptoms even develop .

It’s simple. This legislation will save lives.

But first, we need to get it passed, and I need to know you have our back. Will you sign on to show your support for this critical bill? [[link removed]]

Under current law, Medicare coverage of breakthrough multi-cancer screenings is extremely limited, time consuming, and complex.

But when it comes to cancer, time is of the essence.

If we pass this bill, we will be able to strike down these barriers to coverage, which will set older, rural, and underserved Americans up for much greater chances of cancer survival.

That’s something worth fighting for.
