Three months ago, Congress moved to certify the results of the 2020 elections. That same day, January 6th, a violent mob of Trump supporters breached the Capitol building in the early afternoon and forced Congress to pause the certification. For the first time in American history, including the Civil War, the United States was unable to oversee a peaceful transfer of power due to the actions of an insurrectionist mob.

Since then, Serve America has worked to hold all 147 members of the Sedition Caucus—the members of Congress who sided with the insurrectionists and refused to certify the results of the most secure election in history—accountable for their actions.

We’ve seen federal law enforcement move quickly to bring charges against individuals who stormed the Capitol, committed violence, or destroyed federal property. But we have yet to see Members of Congress who helped spread Trump’s big lie and encouraged the rioters on January 6th be held accountable.

Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz, Matt Gaetz, Madison Cawthorn, Lauren Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and the remaining members of the Sedition Caucus must be held accountable. They are unfit to serve in Congress, and the best way to remove them is at the ballot box.
