OH NO — QAnon conspiracy theorist and Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has just introduced a bill with the goal of firing Dr. Fauci [!!]
The bill is called the FIRE FAUCI ACT , and it reduces Dr. Fauci’s salary to $0 with the intention of pushing Dr. Fauci out as director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the Chief Medical Advisor to the president.

This proposed bill is completely nonsensical. It incorrectly states that the Senate confirms the Director of the NIAID — Dr. Fauci’s position — and criticizes Fauci for drawing a salary.
But the sad truth is that most Republicans are so blinded by hatred that they don’t care if the bill is garbage.
