Dear John,

In my campaign for Congress, I was honored to have the endorsement of Council for a Livable World.

The Council promotes policies to reduce and eventually eliminate nuclear threats and minimize the risk of war. It does this by helping elect Congressional candidates who share their goals and supporting Members of Congress once in office.

I would like you to consider signing this petition to President Biden asking him to reverse Trump’s dangerous nuclear policies >>

Along with its sister organization, the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation, Council for a Livable World has been at the forefront of U.S. arms control and national security policy for more than half a century and has been instrumental in supporting treaties that keep us all safer from nuclear catastrophe.

In fact, the Council supported Joe Biden in his first longshot campaign for Senate in 1972. That support was bookended when the Council, for the first time in its 58-year history, endorsed a candidate for President: now-President Joe Biden.

In last year’s election, the Council raised $1.5 million for 35 victorious candidates, with some races still undecided. And the organization is already beginning to plan their involvement in key 2022 elections.

I urge you to sign the petition and consider a contribution so they can continue their important work, and support additional candidates.
