Hello caregivers!

That's you parents, neighbors who've been doing grocery runs, adult children who've set up your parents vaccines — it's been a year. But we know that trying to manage it all has always been tough.

This Saturday, we're shining the light on YOU — and the support you need to make it easier, once and for all. Join us on April 10 at 12 p.m. ET to celebrate the caregivers, care workers, people with disabilities, and older adults in our communities, and to come together to vision a brighter future.

As we look forward, beyond the immediate crisis of the pandemic, the need to invest in care for all of us — care workers, caregivers, aging adults, and people with disabilities — is clear. We shouldered heavy loads in this pandemic, and we shouldn’t have to do this ever again.

That’s why we have joined with 14 other organizations to form the #CareCantWait coalition, advocating for the central role of care in our pandemic relief and recovery. Care work makes all other work possible. It nourishes our communities. And it should not feel like an impossible burden.

On Saturday, April 10th, our Care Can’t Wait Coalition will hold a live Summit on Facebook from 12:00pm - 2pm EDT. Join the #CareCantWait National Summit where Devon Still, Amy Schumer, myself, and many more will convene to talk about what it will take to build a robust care infrastructure that uplifts us all.

When we invest in real support for family caregivers, care workers, older adults, and people with disabilities, we are investing in a more caring future that uplifts us all. Join us to hear the experiences of other caregivers, for music and laughter, to celebrate our resilience, and to come together in our power to make real investments in care happen.

We hope to see you there for this groundbreaking care event!

With care,
