Tell your U.S. senators to pass background check legislation now

Moms Demand Action

John, pack your bags. We're going on a road trip for background checks!

Over the course of the next ten days, groups of volunteers from across the country will be making more than 60 stops in 22 states for our new Road Trip for Background Checks. It's a 16,000 mile-long, COVID-safe, cross country road trip headed to Washington, D.C. to call for Senate action on background checks.

Join our volunteers in demanding action. Tell your U.S. senators: pass background check legislation now.

We're going on a road trip for background checks!

At each stop along seven different routes across the country, Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action volunteers, gun violence survivors, Democrats and Republicans, gun owners, veterans, faith leaders, and elected leaders will decorate a mural and collect messages, mementos, and letters to be delivered in-person to senators on Capitol Hill to urge them to pass background checks legislation now.

And with your help, we can make sure that lawmakers can't ignore us. Support our road trip by telling your U.S. senators: pass background check legislation now.

John, we deserve more than thoughts and prayers to prevent gun violence. It's past time for our elected leaders to acknowledge the American public's overwhelming support for life-saving background check legislation. We need action from our U.S. senators now.

Thanks for being a part of this movement, and thank you for supporting the volunteers from across the country who are joining this incredible event.
