Hey John,

Today is the day — it's the Sexual Assault Awareness Month Day of Action, and do we have a lineup for you!

First, make sure you’re wearing teal. Wearing teal is a way to show your support for SAAM and a way of signaling to our greater community that you stand with us. So post your selfie along with #SAAM2021 and make sure that all of your friends and family know that today is the SAAM Day of Action.

Already wearing teal? Great! Then we encourage you to take a look at our latest infographic on ways we can prevent and respond to online harassment and abuse. All of these graphics tie directly into how We Can Build Safe Online Spaces.

April in general is a time to share how we can prevent sexual harassment and abuse online because harassment can, and does, happen online. Unsolicited pictures, revenge porn, and even sharing private messages are all considered harassment and cause real and lasting harm.

The goal of our We Can Build Safe Online Spaces campaign is to make sure that we’re getting the word out about sexual harassment and how we can prevent it now, and in the future.

So right now, check out our new infographic and online prevention resources and consider sharing them to your social media!

P.S. Sign up to attend an online SAAM self-care session or other event happening near you this April!
