I am disappointed at how disrespected our brave patriots in uniform are. Let me tell you something, there is NOTHING a good cop hates more than a bad cop.
As a first responder's wife, the issue of defunding the police could not hit closer to home. My husband serves as a firefighter and a SWAT medic for our local sheriff’s department. Under this new bill, my husband, and many brave officers, would lose the equipment that keeps them SAFE when they respond to unpredictable and threatening calls in their efforts to SAVE LIVES!
Defunding the police is not the answer here, as a matter of fact, if we want more good cops, more trained cops, and fewer casualties, we need to FULLY FUND our police.
