Politicians like Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and his anti-abortion allies are doing everything they can to impose even more restrictions on abortion or outright ban the procedure.

Just this week, six anti-abortion bills will be considered in a legislative committee.

A majority of Texans believe that abortion should be accessible and that all people should be free to determine the course of their reproductive lives.

The Legislature should be spending its time addressing the pandemic or preventing another massive power blackout. But instead, lawmakers are playing games with private medical decisions. It's wrong, and we ask you to join us in opposing these harmful anti-abortion bills.
