Hi there,

We have a brand new Minister for the NDIS – which means we have a huge opportunity to stop the proposed changes going ahead.

Senator Linda Reynolds has just taken over as the new Minister for the NDIS.

We don’t know yet where she stands on compulsory assessments – which is why she needs to hear directly from you today about why these changes won’t work, and why they must be stopped immediately.

Will you contact the new Minister for the NDIS now, and call on her to stop these changes immediately? [[link removed]]

This is an enormous opportunity to stop the Federal Government’s planned changes from going ahead. To coincide with the new Minister’s first day in the portfolio, we’re launching a new campaign, Hands off our NDIS. [[link removed]]

And the first most and urgent step in the campaign is to let Minister Linda Reynolds know that people with disability, their families and the people who support them reject the previous Minister’s proposed changes to the NDIS.

The Government’s proposed changes will fundamentally change the NDIS. Compulsory assessments will remove the individualised and personalised nature of the scheme – the core values of the NDIS, which we fought so hard for.

It’s time for us to stand together and let the new Minister for the NDIS know that we will not allow these changes to go ahead. [[link removed]]

This is our NDIS.

Thanks for all that you do,
