The news that our local NHS will receive hundreds of millions of pounds of investment is welcome.

But I feel apprehensive about it.

The Government have made assurances in the past but then backtracked on their promise.

That's why I have written to the Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, seeking assurances that our local NHS will get the investment it deserves.

We cannot afford to be complacent,?John.

Our community deserve a refurbished St Helier Hospital, more hardworking medical staff and a brand new acute facility for the sickest patients!
