A recent New York Times column shed disturbing light on a class of chemicals known as endocrine disruptors. These chemicals are hiding in everyday products – plastics, shampoos, cosmetics, canned foods and printed receipts – but “can wreak reproductive havoc,” according to the Times.

Endocrine disruptors, which interfere with the normal functioning of the hormone system, have been linked to a number of concerning fertility trends, ranging from increased numbers of miscarriages to declining egg quality and lower sperm counts.

Although Europe and Canada have already taken steps to regulate endocrine disruptors, they are unregulated in the U.S., leaving Americans to suffer. Chemical giants have leveraged their lobbying power to block even safety testing!

But friend, by taking just 30 seconds to complete EWG’s survey request, you can help our team of scientists and experts take action on endocrine disruptors.

I hope you won’t sit this one out. Our team is relying on your response, friend.

Thank you, from all of us at EWG.
