Let’s be clear, the atrocities that happened in Atlanta were hate crimes. It’s time to take our efforts to the next level & use every tool in our toolbox to address this matter. It’s past time for us to act, but I know together we can prevail.

The senseless violence of mass shootings should not be allowed to happen in America. That’s why the House passed H.R. 8, a bipartisan bill that will close loopholes in background checks and make sure that guns don’t fall into the wrong hands.

Will you sign on NOW and demand the Senate pass H.R. 8 and work on stopping this senseless violence?

Enhancing background checks will help keep guns out of the hands of those who should not have them. Mandatory background checks on all sales and transfers of guns are critical to saving lives.

That’s why we need people like Yvette working hard in Congress passing bills like H.R. 8.
