For some quick background, these are the people trying to unseat Larry Krasner and other powerful District Attorneys around the country. They’re so threatened by our movement that they’re willing to peddle lies to defend a murderer like Derek Chauvin.

As awful as this email is, we can’t say we’re surprised.

The District Attorneys that Real Justice has endorsed have racked up some historic wins in just a few short years.

Cash bail has been stopped in major cities.

The death penalty has been outright ABOLISHED in several states.

And many DAs have taken great leaps to actually prosecute the cops who brutalize and murder Black people.

Now the cop unions and right-wing PACs are getting desperate. They’re inciting racist conspiracy theories against people like George Floyd to rile up their base and boost fundraising.

Together, our movement is stronger than ANYTHING they can throw our way. But we need to make sure we maintain the resources and grassroots power required to win.
