Dear John,

We can't stand for this.

Boris Johnson keeps telling we just need to “get Brexit done”. But his Brexit – whether it’s No Deal or some new version of a deal – would not provide any closure in this crisis.

It would merely be the start of an excruciatingly painful process lasting a decade or more - with the UK in a weaker bargaining position than ever.

It would be a massive distraction from urgent priorities like the NHS, climate change and housing.

It would mean the next election would be the bitterest and nastiest Britain had ever seen as the millions who were denied a final say on a Brexit that satisfies no one looked for ways to protest and vent their anger.

We must fight back.

A confirmatory referendum is the best way of providing the country with a much needed resolution of this long-running and increasingly painful period of uncertainty.

And we are the closest we have ever been to achieving this. Thanks to your amazing support more and more people favour a People's Vote every day. Will you chip in now to help show Boris Johnson that we won't let Brexit go on and on and on?
