Republicans are carrying out a systematic attack on the right to vote. It’s an attack ignited by Donald Trump’s Big Lie that the election was stolen from him and implemented by Republican-controlled state legislatures across the country.

As many as 43 different state legislatures have introduced bills that would restrict access to the ballot box -- but Georgia has already gone further than any.

After Georgians voted in record numbers to send Joe Biden to the White House and Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock to the Senate, Republicans in the state legislature decided they didn’t want to have to answer to these voters.

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed legislation that limits ballot drop boxes in communities of color, imposes onerous new voter ID requirements, and even makes it a crime to offer food and water to voters waiting in lines the state itself is working to make longer.

It’s voter suppression, plain and simple. Congressman John Lewis told us to never give up and never give in. So that is what we will do.
