Team, I want to address something very close to my heart.
In the past year, we’ve seen unprecedented levels of violence against Asian and Asian-American people across our country.
Will you add your name to join me in standing against Asian hate and fight for equality and safety? »
Ever since the tragic killing of Asian women at Atlanta-area salons jolted our nation, we’ve seen a swell of support for Asian activism. And I’m leading that work in Congress:
We must ensure we’re accurately documenting hate crimes against Asian-Americans, listening to the voices and perspectives of Asian communities, and starting a dialogue about this often overlooked problem.
Fortunately, many of these steps are already underway. But there's so much more we must do.
So friend, I need to ask again -- will you stand with me and add your name to our pledge to Stop Asian Hate?
Thank you for standing up.
